As a lover and fan and collector of Art, Wit went to the November concert that featured Davido at TBS Lagos a day to “Baddest” Birthday to see for himself if the energy felt from far can be felt at close range, then I became convinced and proceeded towards more understudy.

The Journey of David Adedeji Adeleke Aka Baddest, Aka OBO (Omo Baba Olowo), popularly known as Davido started his career in music in 2009, and by 2011 he released his first hit; Back When followed by theAfrican hit Dami Duro, Davido is a Nigerian-American singer, songwriter and record producer. Wavers Ltd as an entity never existed then but Wit the project manager foresees the icon's energy and aspiration and has been following him since then.

Fast-forward to 2019, Nature brought our path to cross again at theNYSC camp in Lagos, I was fortunate to share the same NYSC camp with“Baddest” he’s arrival confirmed the same energy I felt at the close range and I once again re-affirm that DAVIDO is that artist that would represent the African space, his way of life and style of music dictates Afro beats the new tune taking over the music realm.

After so much experience in the I.T world and seeing the revolution it has brought into our new world we decided to bring our idea into Life by transmitting it via it origin which is Art and creating a platform for it via NFT, An innovation that has transformed the world since2017.

The Story Thus: Wit and Pesin who is also a mastermind of the idea decided to start a tour by scouting for artists all around the African higher institutions, especially in Nigeria. We were able to scout from Yaba College of Education (YABATECH), University of Lagos (UNILAG), ThePolytechnic Ibadan (POLY IBADAN) University of Benin (UNIBEN), Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) to mention few.

We came together to pick a name for the project a name that has 3 representations Analysis.
A. The Name represents DAVIDO’s Aka “Baddest”.
B. The Name Gives an ironical meaning for the Best of among the Best.
C. The Name represents a strike, a Big Bang stating an Arrival to takeover a Space/Place.

We had our first official number, we had been preparing for months, meeting in person and virtually, sharing values, crypto, and life lessons with each and also remembering the core value and passion we shared. We faced a lot of challenges but we were able to overcome them because of our matching energy and force to succeed.

1st quarter 2023
The release of the Baddest Coin/Token a token that will represent a major coin for the African space which will allow a play to earn gaming and Music platform.
2nd quarter 2023
With the release of our coin on different exchanges, we will work towards ensuring that our coin reaches the primary and secondary platforms. We have put in place a long-term vision. As a community-driven project, we will continue to have our vote on what they want to see next, and we will welcome initiative ideas driven by the course of our existence. Where does our project lead? It sounds impossible but it is very possible, our dear project has been designed to be infinite i.e one step will give birth to another, and we will keep our B.W.C alive as possible, as continuous as life plays.
